Why do I never hear about these things in time
Ayo. Joined lemmy a while back but never thought to look up a Pittsburgh community til now
Was just here today, I don't know if it's cause I was just in a good mood today but like it went so smoothly even with traffic. Never happened before
I constantly use it for running Linux commands that have complicated options and arguments or that I just don't remember.
I've been looking for a Linux tablet for a while and I think I finally found it. Well written review and I hope it gets better support once released globally.
Just came across this thread. I would definitely love to see ipfs being used for lemmy. It fits perfectly and makes sense as well as save storage space. That study was published in 2022. Has there been any improvements to ipfs latency since then?
Yeah it's honestly ridiculous. I can kinda understand it for fully electric vehicles to maybe tweak how the motors work but it's all the other useless shit that's usually being updated
True, I honestly don't get it. In everything in life if I don't like something I find something better or try to fix it. I hate relying on some entity blindly putting my trust into them. I will genuinely never understand the blind trust people put into anything and everything. I can't tell if it's ignorace or apathy
Well yeah, I get the backlog of post. Reddit threads from 4+ years ago still come up when I Google something. I mean actively using reddit. The obscure communities can be made and will be once more people use lemmy. Reddit didn't have them at the start either
It's literally the same format as reddit. Just make those communities
I feel like I'm the only one of my generation that hates adding tech to shit that doesn't need it. It's ridiculous and ass backwards
I hope so. More Linux users mean more Linux support
