What is this obsession with Temperatures here? Anything below around or below 80° heck even 90 would be ok...

You can force a low idle Temp by increasing the fan speed, but it will be noisy...

You can always go higher res to Bottleneck the GPU by force.

But is it only the CPU or is it the CPU+ everything you need?

Since if you only got the CPU,

but no Motherboard, RAM already etc...

there is really no point at all in buying such old components.

there should be no reason, if you buy new, to go anything but 12 13 or 14 Gen

It is good enough IF you already can run it without buying any parts except GPU

Yeah, I am unsure if it is called different for laptops.

Battery I use 60Hz to save battery power.

Otherwise I use max since more Hz seems better if you are not on battery.

I can't deny that, since I felt the same when I had 144Hz for a brief time running a sub 60FPS game.

I was not able to get a 120+ HZ screen yet that had the sharpness and color of my old LG 4k 60Hz screen, despite all of them being IPS.

Why would the Hz make a difference? I dunno if it works, but the Hz are more or less irrelevant since you probably won't even reach much beyond 60fps anyway.

Doesn't HT off usually decrease Power by a lot?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

You either Undervolt or Power Limit since underclocking, to me, makes no sense at all.

At 1080p it is not about the CPU it is about the fps you wanna have.

the one with 8 P-Cores which are the most important cores for gaming...

iGPU is great for Video Encoding/Streaming since it is basically on par in visual quality with Nvenc while also being resource friendly.

Also back up in case GPU dies.
