The intent of an endorsement is “on this basis we recommend candidate X” - it's an argument not a dictate but I understand your point.

Media is supposed to be objective, endorsements are a long standing tradition here in the US, ostensibly and hopefully based on a non-partisan analysis of the candidates' policy positions, record and overall character.

Having the choice between an aspiring fascist dictator and convicted felon versus the sitting Vice-President and the decision being “neither” is indeed shocking and disappointing. The Post used to have massive credibility, especially on politics. This is an embarrassment.

Dude. 1/2 size larger maybe?

I kid but seriously. I once made the mistake of getting new shoes RIGHT before a convention where I was on my feet for 8-10 hours a day and no time to get different ones. They were too tight and that pressure caused me pain for years.

“Illustrate” “Comfirm” “Demonstrate” “Verify” “Highlight” “Are a stark, clear and empirical evidence of”

There were better ways to frame the story.

Nearly?!? I mean sure a furnace or a steam roller or a nuclear blast might do it but….putting on shoes?

She sure is lazy with all those rallies and interviews and events while he doggedly cancels almost everything claiming exhaustion.

I mean….let's do a music.

Buying a President openly, proudly…and the media shrugs it off.

Elian lost his mother coming here and was living with relatives in Miami. His Cuban father (rightfully, in my opinion) wanted him back. His family here reasonably argued that his mother's last act was to bring him to the US and hence he should remain.

The legal battle and ultimate decision he was to be sent back traumatized an innocent kid, but it's not the same. The US was in the middle of a family fight where both sides were asserting viable arguments and the kid was a pawn. I don't see that being a US policy mistake.

Simply put if the population centers alone are considered cities decide elections.

It was deemed unfair to let that be because the rural/farm areas would have no say…so they over corrected and created a system which leaves a few generally smaller states decide.

So Iowa and New Hanpshire have undue influence on primaries and hence the candidates nominated and PA, GA, WI, MI and perhaps FL decide the election (and in FL on again the higher population in citities are out-influenced by the far less populous but more numerous rural counties in the same way).

Basically good(ish) or perhaps cynical intentions and unintended consequences.

Also, that poor tumor having to exist inside that piece of shit.

She is Vice-President and does not make foreign policy at the moment and has been quite specific about protecting both Palestinian and Israeli lives as her position on the issue.

Her current role is advisory, the President decides actual policy and her's as President would be exponentially better than Trump's.

After the news I came here to see what other fans thought and no posts in months was a bummer. Nothing about Couture missing the rest of the season, nothing about our best remaining Shark going to (ugh) Vegas.

Ugly day for Teal.

Came here excited to join a discussion about those last few laps and….no threads posted?

SPOILERS

The battle between Pramac Ducati, KTM and factory Duc was an old school nail biter…loved it!

Not gonna post the finishers just in case but if you didn't watch it, do it!

It appears at least some of the indicted players in the Trump indictments in Georgia are asking to change to Federal court…but these are State charges not Federal - how could a Federal court hear the case(s) in that situation? Would it enable a potential Presidential pardon which does not apply to State charges otherwise?

Is this a back door way to dodge the charges?
