Did you update Intel ME as well as the bios? Maybe I misunderstood your post but the ME doesn't update when you update your BIOS. They are separate and both need to be manually updated.

I agree here even though I personally wouldn't get an air cooler for a 13700k. Nothing wrong with one but just not for me.
It's a no brainer. Fresh install of windows. Anyone who says otherwise are looking for problems.

Literally go to the prime 790A page from Asus. It says to update ME before updating bios......
