I can’t remember which one it is but there’s an article that has an attachment which loops over and over. The story of the SCP is it needs to read something to keep it occupied so they let it read its own article over and over.

I have an account on Spectra but it seems I cannot access a lot of videos on other instances. What’s the best one that I can see videos from across instances. Thanks!

A year ago today I made my Lemmy account

I now have a Mastodon, a Pixelfed, a bookwyrm, and a Peertube account. I switched off of most google services to privacy respecting ones. A week ago I bought a laptop to run Linux mint on.

And I couldn’t be happier here’s to another year of the Fediverse!

I never got into the short form video thing but anything to get more people onto the Fediverse is a good thing

I’m trying to find a pair between 100-200$,decent sound, a pair that will last, and optionally a pair which aren’t a total pain to repair. Fairbuds are my first choice but they’ve not available in my region so what are my other options?

I got a bunch of DVDs my local library was getting rid of and there are a few very obscure ones that I would like to archive. However I am unsure how to get the data from the DVD into a shareable format what’s the easiest way to do this? Thanks!

Finally glad to find somewhere to talk about this.

Duck duck go was my first step towards privacy and I used it for years. Sure it had its problems here and there but it was the best I could find. Then they started shoving AI into it and I jumped ship

I didn’t believe this when I first heard about it but it’s looking more true everyday

Will Lemmy ever have another source of income like official merch or will it rely on donations for the foreseeable future?
