I would love that. I have a refurbished Steam Deck and I don't use it that much, actually I'm barely using it. I've been a PC gamer all my life, I have a pretty strong workstation and a gaming laptop.

So for me a perfect pocket Deck would be a smaller and lighter one, less powerful to play indie titles, 2d games or really old games like Fallout 3, New Vegas(40fps). Not to try and run Starfield on it or any new and demanding games. I play those games on my PC. The current Deck is too big and not really carry friendly in my bags.

Still I bought it to support the system, I would love for the whole gaming scene to move to Linux, even if most of my PCs run Windows. Maybe this in turn will also push app developers to also make their apps available on Linux.

Feels like the 4.0 version has been in alpha/beta for years now? I thought they abandoned the idea.

So they should get a free pass?

Yes some countries have nightmarish bureaucracy, but for studying, I think it's easier than wanting to move there. I have empathy for the whole situation. I don't think it's an EU problem.

Why? They were in Ukraine and from what I see they were allowed to stay 2 years in the EU. It's shit they didn't get to graduate but it's not EU's fault. They should apply for a university in the EU, I'm sure they can find a good uni to continue their studies.

I do the same. I don't care if there is an algorithm or not, I don't care if you get 0,00001% more money. The end doesn't justify the means. I am on a personal vendetta, every time I am on YT and I see a thumbnail like that or one with clickbait text or arrows. It's instant don't recommend channel. I don't care if I am subbed to that channel or not. Stop finding excuses, we need a gram of human decency, stop whoring yourself like that

Disappointed that it's only one arrow! I do appreciate the red circle. Also needs a bit more clickbait title in the thumbnail.

So this movie is going to become a reality a lot sooner? 1-2 generations max, yikes.

I agree mods should be from Europe since they would most likely know more about the topics being discussed, quickly browsing through your history, you also never posted on Europe related communities.

ios is not really privacy friendly. It's more the result of an amazing PR campaign. That plus the fact that Apple wasn't really in the ad game but now it is slowly changing. In reality you are giving your data to Apple. You will say, yeah but Apple is ok, of course they are because they have great marketing. Google doesn't and Google = privacy nightmare, which is also true.

Had an exchange of emails with someone, around 4-5 back and forth emails. He then told me that my last reply never arrived. When I forwarded that email again to him, he told me that actually the original reply arrived but landed in spam... he checked it after I forwarded the initial reply.

It's not critical or even a super important conversation but I think he lied to me. Is there any chance that a reply lands in spam if the last 4 mails in a thread arrived without a problem?

The emails were sent from a custom domain, using Office 365 Business. I have that email address for more than 6 years and I never had a problem with my emails landing in spam or never arriving. It's the first time I am hearing about it but I think he is duping me.

Linux noob here. Usually in Windows if I have a 1TB SSD, I make a 250GB partition for Windows and all of its things and I use the rest for a second partition where I install my stuff and store my files.

Usually in case Windows decides to go belly up, I still have my files. In more than 20 years it has never happened but I've always done it like that. I mean if Windows goes bad, I can still remove the drive and insert it into a different PC and copy my files away.

Should I shrink Partition 3 and make another one? Or keep it as it is? If I would, I read that I need to boot with a live usb to be able to shrink it. What kind of partition would I make?

The entire game is experienced through your ears. You're blindfolded and going against traffic. Cars rushing past, angry drivers yelling at you. Cops on your tail. And a sadistic madman on the phone. Can you do it?

Play as Donnie, trying to make a quick buck in a scientific study but quickly finding himself in over his head, cuffed to the wheel and driving blindfolded against traffic. Plus he's late for dinner with Grandma.

It's incredible how much the prices have fallen and that's how it should be. Sure, I bought the 960 close to launch but still the difference is staggering.

The 960 Evo still chugs along albeit it's a new one because a few months after I bought it, I had to RMA it. I guess that's what happens when you are an early adopter. I lost a few hours of work when the original 960 Evo decided to stop working but it also taught me to be more paranoia with backups.

Read this article and thought it perfectly fits that subreddit. Of course based on the subs rules, I removed the company's name 🤡. Wonder how long it will stay up.
