Count me as another Reddit refugee! Happy to have found Lemmy and hope to support a growing and vibrant community. I'll likely be in lurker mode (we introverts are good at that) as I learn my way around. Thank you for the FAQ - very helpful! I don't have a boat but do have a couple of cats and dogs. I’m staying! As a former Apollo user, Reddit is dead to me now. Yes, the fediverse is different than what many people may have been accustomed to using and some will leave because they don’t want to break out of their comfort zone. Sure, there are technical issues and issues with the segmentation of communities and other growing pains but I definitely think it’s worth sticking around and supporting. I’m in it for the long-haul.
