I'm paying a cheap VPS for stuff that I want to be 100% available. Like vaultwarden and Authentik for example.

But services, hmm let me see. Does Netflix count as I have plex? Nvm I pay both monthly, did not buy the plex lifetime pass yet. But for Netflix I recently switched my payment to turkey via vpn. Price is less than 1/3rd now.

No problems with uptime running vaultwarden as a docker on a hetzner vm. Only thing I am missing is some sort of SSO integration.

I encountered ddos attacks on my entry/relay node. So I stopped it again.

Right after the node was fully provisioned and registered in the tor database it started. Had internet crashes multiple times a day.

Give it a try, better not an exit node, just relay or entry and have a look on it. It's always good to help the tor network in any way. But be aware of what I encountered.

There's many, but the most improvement is plex with the whole servarr stack automating nearly everything behind the curtain. Plus notifiarr with trash guides library improvements.

Besides that, home assistant also improves my life quite a lot.

I'm running quite many apps. Just some:

Linkding to collect bookmarks Mealie to collect recipes Nextcloud syncing to photoprism Syncthing to backup the phone on the fly (downloads, app backups, GPS logs to replace Google time-line)

For sure Minecraft Modpacks. Can set up factories for stuff you need and leave it running.

Terraria

That's what I played, they already have been mentioned.

Would have loved it to have a Arma 2 Dayz Mod Server when it was on its peak. Get myself enough loot and raid other ppl on the official servers. But there were enough unprotected "hack" servers where you just could hack in your loot without getting banned. Oh Yea was a fun time. No, I never teleported ppl or nuked a whole server. I just got myself back what other hackers destroyed.
