do i need to tick the "number of processors" option here, and choose the highest number? Or leave the option default as is? in c/[email protected]

This is actually funny but you need to check this setting if you upgraded your CPU. I had mine at 8 in a 7700k and upgrading to a 13600kf i had to uncheck this to use 14 cores. With the check it was set to 8 and i couldn’t select more.
