Oh there is but it's sorted through rich people filters, if a hundred show ideas contain important and useful thoughts about our current society and one show Idea boils down to 'capitalism is good actually' then we already know which one will get made without any other information
I don't mind watching a 'capitalism is good' show occasionally if it's risen to the top because it makes important and informative statements but i can't abide a landscape where other opinions don't have that same ability.
Yeah you're almost always going to increase loading time and for most people who don't play the mini game it'll just be annoying. Most people look at their phone if a loading screen is longer than a few seconds anyway or have a drink or something.
I think the main reason is that you're trying to dump and reload game assets quickly, it's far easier to do that without also doing something else

I much prefer stuff that's free because it's made by people who want to make it, I'll even put a few coins in their patreon if I really like it.

Because they promise easy solutions to impossible problems, promise to push the pain and hardship onto someone else, promise to make life easier and simpler and to chase away all the things that make it difficult.

We've only barely started to see what the tech we have now is able to do, yes a million shitty chat bots / img gen apps are cashing in on the hype but when we start seeing some killer apps emerge it's when people won't be able to ignore it any longer

I mean yes I know you're going to say socialism is about workers getting fair pay but come on, this is just pure rent seeking. We're a global community of people, if this comment helps train an ai that can help other people better live their lives, better access medicine and education or other services then I think that's a wonderful thing.
And yes of course it should be open source and free to all people, that's why these pushes to make sure only corporations can afford ai are so infuriating
