If you plan on doing any sort of RAID array stay away from SMR disks, they are hugely performance costly because of having to read multiple layers to get down and read/write to lower layers across multiple disks.

If the video is a pink tint in addition to green then it's probably a Dolby Vision encoded file and your playback device doesn't support it.

I really hate how they decided to make a 2.5g and 5g standard when 10g had already been around for decades. The worst part is that all of the 10g switches that were already out don't recognize 2.5g/5g and just treat them as 1g links.
