Some cars have that already. I rented a Hyundai Elantra recently when my car was being serviced. It came with Rear Occupant Alert. Ultrasonic sensors can detect if there's movement in the backseat when a driver exits the vehicle.

Well, my expectations were really low for that so I didn't mind that as much as others.

My expectations were slightly higher for this and so I didn't enjoy it as much. It's not the worst thing. It's watchable, I got a few chuckles, but it's simply meh. It didn't need to be made, but for two hours, it's fine.

I think it was about ten-fifteen years too late.

Saw it. It was okay. Expect everyone to be old. Expect the writer to take the same beats as previous movies. There were a few lines that were funny, but Murphy is obviously not the same young kid from the first movies.

I liked it better than 3, but that's not saying much. 1 and 2 were far better. Don't expect a Top Gun: Maverick experience by any means.
