@Jumuta @maegul Yeah, the lines getting the immediate and substantial capacity upgrade are going to have pretty favourable views of it.

Passenger numbers at Parkville might be pretty impressive pretty quickly.

And the tram users who go past the Women's will also be pretty happy with the change in tram usage from Parkville station users too.

@maegul @Melonpoly Yeah, everyone loves the new road, because it is empty and awesome to use (for a few weeks) where the same phenomenon on a train line is a failure.

A classic double standard.

@Kecessa @plactagonic dirt paths in australia have good numbers of snakes, I tink observations of snakes are just common.

@plactagonic ~2x the minimum.

But as with most fitness gear, second hand can be a real bargain. Still spend more than the minimum, but get the 4x bike for 1.5x.

@PeelerSheila I think that narrows it to 3~5 years

@mondoman712 $24 per vehicle?

That is a joke.

Fines can work, when people expect the fines to actually hurt.

@Gorilladrums21 They weren't delivered yet, they are Tesla property.

Protests are only effective if they are disruptive.

@bstix @PanArab if you want solid ground contact offroad, look at legged vehicles.

@bstix @PanArab why roads at all? Rails for all bulk mechanical transport.

Tyres for tractors (on farms), push/electric bikes, and personal mobility devices. And probably forklifts. Everyhing else is hard wheeled (trains and indoor trolleys).
