Same here, I'll love infinity until the end.

Nah, the wave 4 showed Yoshi's Island and birdo, nothing else. We'll get an in depth look closer to launch.

Thanks for pointing this out. While proprietary software is harder to stomach than open source software, any private options should be praised. Apple’s the only company in its league that offers some privacy, and it’s the only option for people in college or business.

~~Put all your gear to run speed up to move faster~~

For actual advice, check out some of the gear builds people made on sendou.ink for the brush. It looks like quick respawn is pretty popular right now, but you should always experiment too. DUDE has a Tearin' it up video on the inkbrush (splatoon 2 but still relavent) which you can watch for strategy and ideas. I heard rolling is also super important to psych out people with inkbrush. You have to be super mobile to not die, and squid roll really helps with that.

I'm trying, but so far set threads have to be done manually due to most tourneys not updating start.gg on a game by game basis. The pre tournament thread and final results threads are making good progress though.

100% this, that was my favorite thing from the old community. If we don't have the tourney threads and the congrats to the winner of ____ posts, it won't be the same. I have some basic api experience with start.gg's API, so I could try to make a bot in my free time. No promises though. All mid set updates would have to be done manually too.

Hello! I started playing brawl when I was very young, and kept up with the series since. I've always mained yoshi because I loved the little guy when I was a toddler and never really developed past that. I started to go to locals late last year, and I've gotten a lot better at the game since thanks to the excellent MD/VA scene. I can now properly yoshi my way to top 5 or so in a local, but the minute I go to the top weekly in my state's capitol, it's a bloodbath where I barely go 2-2. I've got time to improve, but it's shocking to learn how massive skill gap between you and the veterans of the scene is once you start.

I also love melee, but it's just so technical and fast, I can't keep up. I'll still watch Amsa though.
