When people can't afford to live, the collapse is already here, it's just covered up by a band-aid of bread and circuses.

Am I the only one who thinks that having only a 7% dip in visits and a 16% reduction in time spent on site is really unusual when over 99% of the site was dark for 48 hours? To me, that suggests that something fucky is going on with the count of real users vs bots on the site.

How there's only one left? The pack come in six.

After Steve's behavior and treatment of the mods and developers, I wouldn't go back if they paid me. Even in the best case scenarios, they can't undo the damage that's already been done.

Imagine dying on this hill, quite literally in cases like Ashli Babbit's, not because you actually support anything this tire fire of a human being stands for, but because your supporting him makes other people upset, and that makes you feel good?

Based on usage statistics during the blackout where 99% of the site was unusable (and bots are known to post in that 1% of low traffic subs to farm karma,) I'm honestly wondering if it's not just mostly bots at this point.

At any rate, I'm not going back. I like this community more, and the topics I care about will find a home here eventually.

Someone's gotta be the early adopters, it looks like that's us today.

I did, the game's good but it's definitely got a certain je ne sais quoi to it that can be tiring at times. It's worth sticking out though, the final boss is incredible and the ending is so heartwarming.

Well, they didn't make the Gamebryo engine that NV was built on, that was provided by Bethesda. Not saying Obsidian couldn't pull it off, but they don't have the same kind of experience building engines that Bethesda does. The writing is top notch though.
