Pop socket life. I have a magsafe case for my Pixel 7 Pro and the magnetic pop socket. I can pull it off when I want and wireless charge.

All fair points. Still wish they'd do the work to support the Steamdeck and stop banning players on Linux.

The DRM Destiny 2 uses is compatible, they just aren't enabling that flag in their builds. Destiny 2 ran great on Stadia and that was Linux.

When a project doesn't publish a deb or other native package, or when the flatpak is much newer and has features you need.

I like the approach Pop OS takes. Their software store lets you choose between deb or flatpak when you install software. I've had issues with flatpak versions of some software, and flipping to the deb package usually fixes it.

I use a local text editor and push the git repository, which triggers automation to generate and publish the content. vscode is my editor for that work.

I run a static site using Hugo, Gitea, Gitea Runners, Cloud Front, and S3.

I can understand how the system config can be back in that short amount of time. How does data backup and restore work in Nix? Is it different than other distros?

Flip Flops (lemmy.onitato.com)

Can anyone recommend a set of flip flops that are durable and last a long time? I had another cheap pair break the other day, and I'm looking for something more durable.

Who can see what communities you are subscribed to on Lemmy? I'm assuming the instance admin would have access. Is that information public anywhere on your profile?
