Now you've gone and made things worse.

I cannot stress enough how efficiently you ruined my ability to use the memory trick.

I don't think you're wrong. I do think a good movie would be more profitable than a bad one. I wouldn't show my kid this movie out of principle, because I happen to be of a generation that cares about this franchise. I wouldn't buy any merch, toys, or clothes either. I'm sure some would, but I feel strongly that this movie won't generate the profits they want, and it'll be specifically because they made something terrible.

Players aged 15 to 21 make up the largest group of Minecraft’s player base at 43%.

The remaining 21% consists of players between 22 to 30 years old, and 20.59% are users aged 61 to 80.

You might be thinking of demographics from like 10 years ago, but those kids grew up dude. Kids are not the primary demographic.

Does Lemmy not like Linux all of a sudden...?

Loud and stupid are affectionate descriptors from my friends. I also struggle with volume after being too quiet for my early years and overcompensating in the later ones.

This is the way.

Right? Now we have people claiming you have a moral obligation to watch ads because they support X or Y. Bizarre is a good word.

[–] Leg 5 points 3 months ago (2 children)

My thoughts too. It definitely works. That's why I despise advertising and block all attempts at it. Don't tell me what to think, assholes.

There needs to be a conversation about how open-minded the Right is, but only when it comes to accepting people you wouldn't trust with your children.

Food deserts are real, and they show you real fast how exploitable you can be.
