Genuinely Southgate does frustrate me because tonight was a good opportunity to try a couple younger players in the positions instead of wedging current players like Tomori in to left-back which he simply cannot play. That whole left side was woeful from an attacking sense.
Henderson shouldn’t be anywhere near this squad any more and Rashford looked just as dreadfully low on confidence as he has all season. The fact that Sterling isn’t in this squad is a shambles.
