agreed. the 6800xt is a baller of a card, imo.

Nvidia has gone from "cool features but not many use them" to "gamers want these extra features" in only a few years.

gamers are the most gullible bastards known to man. they'll always want the newest blinky shinies, if you tell them they need it. Especially, when companies have an edge with that tech over others, because then it's marketed extra heavily.

as long as raytracing is nothing more than a gimmick (and everything outside of extensive path tracing is imo), these comparisons are worthless. Much more important are things like DLSS/DLAA/FSR whatnots, and this is where AMD needs to keep up.
