so I'm an English Quebec person but I live and work in French, and it is pretty much always officially réunion.
However, my point isn't that the Quebecois won't drop an anglicism from time to time, it is that European folks in my neighbourhood take it upon themselves to correct these anglicisms in the Quebecois, without any self awareness of their own.
"en meeting" I never want to hear another euro douche tell the quebecois they don't speak proper French again.
I remember you making a pretty impassioned case that discussion and the marketplace of ideas are not useful Davel. This is what that attitude looks like from the other side I guess.
I think its a bot that starts beef
I love most of what gets posted here as a great reminder of the US‘s unofficial history. However I can't help but wonder where the "real leftists" are who usually go off about how "authoritarian" isn't a real word/was invented by the cia/is just propaganda.
But it's not a cookie! It's a Newton!
very good, sounds legit. This may seem a on sequiter, but are you no longer farting in a maggoty way?
estan las palabras al cancion favorita de mi esposa, I'm not even a little bit latino. Just can't get those two songs out of my head.
A better vocabulary is learned somewhere. Adopting an upbeat tone was always sufficient for me to hold toddlers attention.
In my experience the only thing most people take from this sort of article is that they should not be asked to make any changes to their own lives
