I always argue age (on the higher end) isn't necessarily the end all be all, there are some extremely sharp older folks out there who have good valuable insights, desires, etc and therefore shouldn't have an age cap per-say.
What we should have is mental ability checks because it happens way too often that someone is clearly in cognitive decline yet they're still allowed to hold their seat.
It's an extremely simplistic to just say old = bad.

Yup, when I was 18-23 I was the primary driver of our car, but we put the insurance and name under my gf (now wife) and it was half the cost if I had gotten the insurance instead.
