Palestine is controlled half by a fundamentalist religious cult that calls for Israel to be destroyed, and even the other half is run by a moderate party whose leader wrote a doctoral thesis full of Holocaust denial.
The Ukrainian government does not call for the whole of Russia to be put under Ukrainian control, it does not call for people to kill Russian civilians in other countries, like Hamas does.
