We're definitely fucked. The media has done a bang up job of protecting Trump while pushing fascist talking points to make Biden look bad. Dems don't have a candidate that would rally the base. Maybe Newsom but I doubt it. Especially this late.
Started off feeling really strong, but found myself dropping a lot of stuff. On the fence about Dedede Demons since it feels like it could be interesting or just boring bait. This season of Yuru Camp /_\ has been good. Not as strong as S1 but much more fun than S2. 7th Prince toes a line but has been fun. Jellyfish Can't Swim is really good though maybe one or two clunky episodes. Re:Monster started off interesting but by episode 2 or 3 it was clearly an edgy self insert desire fest built on rape and 'hur hur me MC', so... fuck that show.
I've watched maybe 60 to 70% of what has aired this season and it's been an okay season anime. Some surprises and returns to excellence (Sound! being back was nice). But also a lot of unmemorable shows that hovered around a 5 or 6.
As someone who has matched this description, still do but in different ways, forcing your idea of 'normal' on them isn't going to help them. It's more to make yourself feel better.
Life sucks. It's not your choice how they cope with the suck. Also that you think they'll just be able to start going on dates or whatever is laughable to me. But that's me. I empathize with your roommate in so many ways and fully hope they pack their stuff and leave instead of putting up with your 'good intentions'.

I used to use speakers, but they kind of crapped out. And limited space for the computer made it harder to have them around so I switched to headphones.
So I don't use any streaming services beyond my YouTube 'playlists' of songs that are all like 10 to 20 years old at this point. Used to use DI.fm, but they switched to a model that required a subscription to listen to the only channel I listened to which was extremely disappointing to me for a time. When it comes to physical media I love CDs and actually buy some occasionally. I know they're a 'dying media type', same with all physical media, and it makes me so sad/mad because I much prefer to have a physical copy of something I enjoy. While I don't use my CDs much they are my go to way of getting music when I am in my car.
Took me 4 1/2 hours to get in for 20 min. Then couldn't play the rest of the night due to currants. :/
Yeah that's pretty ridiculous. In the KC market the Royals (MLB) are only on Fox Sports (in some like KC specific package), Chiefs are on broadcast tv, Sporting (MLS) is only on Apple TV I think now. We have no NHL or NBA team but those are all on various cable channels and/or ESPN plus.
More and more stuff is forced onto cable (like almost all of March Madness was only on cable tv). And of course all the stuff split out onto streaming stuff. It's such a shitshow and only getting worse.
In the Kansas City market you get one game a week and it's a random game on Saturdays. Not really interested in the MLB but it's so ridiculous to me that if I was I'd have to get like 3 different subscriptions. But we don't get anything but golf, nascar, and NFL in this market on TV. And the rare NBA game around Christmas and then some of the finals stuff.
Have to make it impossible to watch like MLB, MLS, NHL or NBA.
I loved the campaign and had a lot of fun initially post campaign. But with more and more of the content locked behind 'having a group' I've found myself playing less and less. The pinnacle grind has been painful so far, especially as stuff will drop at a point that's useful, other times the same content will drop it lower, and even other times the same content won't drop anything. It's just all putting me off. Especially the insane damage that's going out now. Dying 40 times in a match made thing because the enemies one shot is boring.
