Sky ref could just say “nah that’s a corner” and be done with it

The problem is that the refs don't seem to care about getting these things correct. They seem to care more about having the main referee have complete control over the game like they used to. It's the reason we have the clear and obvious criteria and it's the reason we have the system where the ref goes over to the monitor to review something VAR has already deemed to need changing. Everything has to go through the ref for them so changing corners/goalkicks in 5 seconds without the ref's input isn't something they're interested in

How are Through Passes defined here? Because "Through Balls" like OP said in the title is generally a different statistic where virtually nobody completes 3+ of them per game.

The Premier League website has a through balls statistic and this season Paqueta is leading it with 16 so far and Salah's in 2nd with 11.

Surely a vote for VAR not to intervene is the same as a vote saying it isn't a red card
