Genaue Zahlen finde ich nicht, aber wenn man annimmt, dass trans*-Menschen ca. 0,6% der Bevölkerung ausmachen, würde ich schließen, das Aussagen über Menschen mit XX-Chromosom im Sinne der statistischen Signifikanz meistens auch für Frauen gelten und umgekehrt.
Richtige Männer und Frauen gehen mit ihrem Körper medizinisch so um, wie es individuell am sinnvollsten ist - je nach organischen, genetischen und hormonellen Gegebenheiten. Das hat mit dem gesellschaftlichen oder zwischenmenschlichen erst mal nix zu tun.
