For iOS memmy, for android voyager, connect, or sync. Mlem and voyager are also good on iOS but neither are developed as fast as memmy

Only reason I use lemmy.world is for community discoverability. Until subscriber counts are federated, it only shows the amount of subs on your instance, and on average the most subs are on lemmy.world. I have a backup alt for when lemmy.world is down

This is probably the closest to new reddit we have so far, lots of people won’t use Lemmy because it’s “ugly” so this would be good to recommend

I heard lemmy.ml is run by genocide denying tankies so that put me off from it a little

Nothing says “free speech” like classifying the word “cis” as a slur
