Sure, but there's a reason the anarchist presence on Hexbear haa dramatically waned over the years. Like how much is anyone actually valuing left unity while federating with an instance that memes about killing anarchists? A lot of the early drama came out of specifically ML's harassing people associated with anarchists, like that John Kerry shit, including accusations of an "anarchist cabal" (which to be fair remains extremely funny to this day).

And this exists alongside an attitude that left unity in fact is a waste of time, that communists and anarchists want fundamentally different things. And when you combine that with memes about anarchists being reactionaries and feds (oh, but not our anarchists!) and glorification of figures that killed a lot of anarchists and the occasional "anarchists get the wall" memes, like you can't be comrades with people who fundamentally see you as a problem to one day violently remove. There cannot be useful criticism without mutual trust, and I don't think there has been that trust in quite a while.

Wouldn't want bad actors to find privacy respecting software.

More generally, just use Libredirect and avoid using a ton of important but shitty websites. Breezewiki in particular is fantastic, so much faster than Fandom and it'll redirect you to a game's actual official wiki since Fandom SEO's itself to the top even when it has shitty misinformation and isn't maintained.

I don't hate my coworkers that much.

64 ounce Stanley water jug. I throw ice in it and I have something cold to drink all day. It's beautiful.

Bidet has been good though now it feels gross to shit at work and my politics demand I shit at work.

Contact grill, ie a GE brand George Foreman. I can't fuck up flippimg shit if I'm frying both sides simultaneously. And a food thermometer so my colorblind ass isn't relying on mom's shit advice to just cook it until it's brown.

This battery car starter / tire infator / phone charger. I have used it with some frequency, but more often I can just roll up and fix someone's car problem super quick. I even get out of work with it a lot when a customer needs someone to jump their car or fix a flat (also keep a tire patch kit obv).

All of this is bought from thrift stores. I can only assume most of my shit was originally shoplifted, it's fantastic. There is just so much good shit being sold for almost nothing, I am the KING of expired Chips Ahoy.

My main reason for buying a 6 refurbished was GrapheneOS. Beyond that, it's a phone without an SD card slot or an easily replacee battery. When this phone gets an issue I can't fix, I'll probably re-evaluate what to get - hopefully still a GrapheneOS phone but more repaiarable and expandable.

Libredirect in general is fantastic, a lot of shit websites become so much more usable. In particular not having to use Fandom is a godsend, that website in particular is just awful.

it uses barely anything. youtube-tui is a TUI not CLI, you can click on shit and it'll run on hardware that for some reason cannot handle freetube of all things. you will have to set up mpv or something for most leaner alternatives to get video running on hardware that modest.

use youtube-tui then nerd

Neovim can can certainly be an IDE, but its complexity comes from having a lot of features to rapidly edit text. d5d deletes 5 lines, vwwy selects two words and yanks them, gg returns to the beginning of the file, etc. It'll maybe do some code highlighting out of the box but its featureset is about never needing to touch a mouse or leave home row.

It's about like notepad++ on Windows in that it's very good for quick edits of a file or otherwise manipulating plaintext but it isn't good out of the box for actual writing meant to be read by other human beings.

I have exactly one use for Brave and that has been Steam Deck's game mode as Firefox's context menus don't work in gamescope, and Brave at the time seemed like the best ad blocking Chromium alternative. Apparently it's not, so fuck it.
