I practice a mental exercise to see if I am implicitly being biased. I usually substitute the blamed party for someone else who already has a good or bad reputation to see if I would treat them the same way, if not then I am being biased and I correct my behavior. Applying that here, if we substitute Israel for North Korea or Syria for instance. Would the international community believe them if they bombed such an important NGO and then said "woopsie!"? The frequency in which neutral parties are being bombed is astonishing and if Iraq or Syria have done that, half the world would be considering imposing strong sanctions or even invading. The fact that we let someone off the hook so easily because we have an initial positive attitude towards them is bias and I would expect better from today's educated world. In my opinion, Trudeau's response should have been harsher.

Direct to Consumer, I think?

I heard this for years while the show was running. I refused to watch the show as well. I decided to start watching it recently.

It turns out that what people were referring to when they likened me to Sheldon was my autistic traits. Sheldon incorporates a lot of specific autistic traits in his character and I am autistic. The funny thing is, one of the people that was constantly comparing me to Sheldon was a good friend of mine who was also autistic but I guess she is somewhere else on the spectrum which is why it was easier for her to associate me with Sheldon than herself.

I guess my point is to tell you that sometimes people make uneducated guesses and comparisons that may end up seeming funny when you realize why they made them. Watch the show. Laugh at them for comparing you to an exaggerated TV persona because you were different from what they expect the average person to be.

I am genetically blessed with a chronic form of histamine allergies that keep my sinuses blocked. On bad days, I have to heat water, then let it cool, and then add a specific salt then use a medical pump to pump them all the way through my nostrils until they reach the back of my throat to make sure the canals are open. Doctor's orders and all. I assure you, we are not doing this for fun.

According to this https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/issues/1113 TLP is one of the culprits but I would rather the boot sequence and wake up from suspend process hang than uninstall TLP. Without it, intel boost keeps overheating my tablet and the battery becomes shit.

It is happening to me too on my surface tablet. Do you have TLP installed? Just out of curiosity

The LRT has had a lot less issues this winter than it did in the last few seasons. It is generally more reliable now and I would rather take it than the busses that are generally late or get canceled all of a sudden with or without notice

I have had it installed for a while and I check it after every update. I can't use it yet as my daily driver because of scaling issues. The desktop scales properly but windows do not. Fonts are too small and the cursor is tiny. I figured out how to scale the cursor manually but I couldnt scale the windows.

There is also Niri, a compositor that is inspired by PaperWM

I have a Microsoft Surface tablet and Fedora with GNOME works pretty well on it. I usually use a stylus or the magnetic keyboard with it but when I do use the touch screen I dont encounter issues. I use PaperWM on top of GNOME and it makes it all so easy to use.
