What is "/s"?

This article is b*******. Reddit didn't win, Reddit is a scorched Earth, with most of its useful quality data stripped from it. I for one didn't know what was going on for about a month, and was wondering why all the good posts were gone, it wasn't until someone explained to me what Reddit was doing and how it would cause the rest of the internet to do the same that I finally understood why everyone trashed Reddit on the way out.

That makes a lot of sense!

Their input shaping is very on-point! I wish we could reverse-engineer it: I'd try, but I'm lazy and incompetent. :P

Anyone else here a fan of this work? It provides a compelling worldview as well as immediately actionable ideas for overcoming our limitations as manking. It puts the Vectoralist class (who hold onto their power by creating the illusion of the limited availability of information) against the Hacker class, who use innovation and novel thought patterns to outwit the Vectoralist class by coming up with ingenious ways to break their control over the flow of information. It really touches me, especially as someone who values truth as much I do: this work made me understand that to me, what God is, is the Truth. For me, this makes the Hacker's mission into a divine one. Probably not the common take on this work, but I am very interested to hear more takes. (to me, this is the MOST Punk ideology of all time!)
