Here's an actual scientist saying the number of satellites interferes with astronomy.

I didn't see the /s, so In case you're being serious, here's the wiki for Germany renewable energy. There's a lot more than hydrocarbons going on.

Well done! It never crossed my mind to take multiple subs on my phone. Thanks for planting that idea in my head.

That is a very sturdy observatory. Did you manufacture all of the metal parts yourself?

Terrific! What kind of exposure times are you using?

I got your point; I think you just argued my point. Nothing we image is as it “is” but rather as it “was”.

I get your point, and yes, it’s already moved from where it was when it was imaged. What you could see would depend on how far away you are from it. If you could now, suddenly, magically be at the edge when the photo was taken it would be some where else. Everywhere we look we’re seeing into the past.

As a beginner, seeing this information really helps. Thanks for including it all and you’ve made a fantastic picture.

I have a couple questions if you don’t mind: what does NB and BB mean and regarding the number of calibration frames, do those numbers represent your choice at imaging time or what remained after excluding any that you or the software didn’t like? Thanks!

This has to be the most informative post I’ve read here. Thanks for all the info.

I'm one of the persons who likes to play factorio without the aliens and the pressure that comes with them. I've been drooling at the weekly blog entries showing the coming factorio 2 and have wondered if it's going to be possible to play without the aliens. I haven't seen mention of whether they will be required other than I seem to recall they were mentioned on one of the new planets. Does anyone know if the peaceful player will be able to exist in the new game?

Thanks! May your factory continue to grow!
