It blows my mind that Biden/Congress didn't give the workers all of their completely reasonable demands if they were able to give them even SOME of their sick days. From 3 to 5... I literally don't understand why a governor and state as progressive as it is doesn't go all in and give people a realistic number. Did COVID teach us nothing? Who is lucky enough these days to only be sick up to 5 days a year. And why do we have to earn it?? Give me a law that makes it so that everyone gets their PTO/sick days all at the beginning of the year and uses it as needed.
