I see. If so, then just buy 1 at $269.99. The price before BF was $279.99. At that non BF price, it's still good and w/o the quantity limit, I imagine?

Just bought one. Hopefully, the drive will be new and in great packaging condition. Thank you for the tip about the sale.

Your link to the WD easystore 18TB is the same as the Seagate. But if both sales are valid, I'd go with the 18TB. It doesn't cost much more per TB. You might not need the extra 4TB now, but you will, soon enough. I have both the easystore as well as the the expansion, and they work fine, no issue.

If you can wait until 11/20, you can get the 20TB exos 20 for $270 (13.5/TB). Currently, it's $280 ($14/TB)

I have the same feeling as you about whether to get 20TB or 22TB. But as of now, for me, the price difference vs just 2 more TB is not worth it. If price on the 22TB goes down, I'd prob. pick the 22TB.

That's a really good price @ $11/TB, but I find it odd the 16 TB and the 20 TB of the same model cost more - $17.5/TB for 16TB and $20/TB for the 20TB

Where did you see this ad? I get costco ads sent to my emails, and I don't think I have seen it. $149 for 14TB is a good price.

I use the app Everything from voidtools, I can find the files by season in fractions of a second

exampletvshow S01

and then cut (the files - not the folder) and paste to a new folder. Not too high tech or advanced, but really fast and easy. I run into this all the time when downloading episodes from usenet and organize them.

Edit: just reread the OP that he's on mac
