Why are people buying products that they can't even have until release day?

Put Jerboa in that spot like I did and use that habit to your advantage!
It'd be very surprising if they omitted it given the last game had support for both pretty much on day one from what I can remember.
Of all the industries trying to force people back into offices, the tech business might be the most absurd. Really just goes to show how silly it is. There is zero reason for me to be in an office to do my job.
If it's anything like the subreddit was, it'll go through multi-year cycles where it alternates back and forth between funny original jokes and reposting the same thing every week.
Really hoping Sync and other apps make the same move, but it seems doubtful. I'm going to miss that app. Lemmy feels much nicer than reddit so far community-wise, but the mobile apps are very much not there yet.
There's an open GitHub issue regarding adding an option to disable live updates. Doesn't look like anyone's done any work on it yet though.
