That's the joke?

Sounds like they are admitting that their cars violate FCC rules about interferance.

Who are they going to serve? You could probably fit each of those state's populations on one train. /s

So many maps in pop culture trying to make a statements are really just population density maps.

How does that matter? I have astigmatism and can usually see these with literally no effort. The thing making this one difficult is the border.

I can usually see it without even trying, but the border on this one really makes it difficult.

Counterpoint, nobody watched it for the CGI. The characters only seem annoying now because they were over the top then and moved the goal posts for that over the course of a generation of being repeatedly aired on broadcast television and cable. The plot seems basic now because so many sci-fi movies afterwards we're influenced in some way by it. The 5th Element is a fun bombastic sci-fi romp and you're taking it way to seriously to enjoy it the way everyone that does enjoy it will do. But, you do you. I'm not telling you you're wrong. Sometimes entertainment endeavors fail us, sometimes we fail to enjoy entertainment on its terms because of our predispositions.

If that had been true for this case these deaths could have been avoided. Thanks for mansplaining the very thing I was upset did not happen and did not save these people from a meaningless death.

Or maybe move smaller safer pieces. It is a fucking PUBLIC road, may e the kind of thing that should be permitted to be safely and completely CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC if such an obviously dangerous load needs to use it. But, I guess a little government oversight and corporate ethics is too high a price compared to those dead citizens.

The cause seems pretty obvious. Transporting an oversized load on a road that was obviously not designed to handle that kind of load safely. No public roads are really. The fact that it was even allowed on a public road is fucking appalling.

Do you not see the tool is his hands? It's clear (which was a common thing in TOS, transparent aluminium I assume) so it's easy to miss. If you can't see the tool it does look kind of ridiculous.
