I guess the education system is really struggling ...

(Also his account is satire, right?)

If the charity itself is doing proper work, that makes sense tbh. I mean, if you had billions to donate, would you give it to some random ass organisation... Or set up your own thing to do things that you personally agree with?

I also have the feeling that the comments started to suck a lot more. It's starting to feel like comments on Youtube or Instagram, not like real people having a somewhat reasonable discussion about the topic.

Reading this kinda feels like having a stroke...

Since the federation the comment sections got so inflammatory. Literally everything gets turned into some political "capitalism bad" or "the west bad" discussion. It made Lemmy very annoying for me to use....

For fucks sake... This is literally about an RFID sticker that is put on the outside of whole cheese wheels.

So unless you buy whole 40kg wheel and then eat it with the rind... you are not eating any.

And also fuck that article for even mentioning that.

Am I the only one where the "Show context" button doesn't do anything, when I look at a reply to one of my comments?

It works in Apps, but not when using the normal website.

I remember when I joined here that tchncs did not federate with Lemmygrad. Is there a reason why it is now? I don't think it's a good instance, since it full of (roleplaying) communists hating on the western world... and I wouldn't want that shit in my "All" feed. Thank you.

This is the most asshole design for those dialogs. If it doesn't have a "Deny all" button, fuck you.

Isn't that a baby opossum?

You probably can't judge the loss in user count anyway. 99% of the users never actively contribute anything, not even upvotes or so.

Is there a reason why the banner and logo of this community are just the reddit logo?

To be honest that doesn't seem very appropriate, nor is it very pretty.

And then it's usually the most low-IQ people you've ever seen. So even if you are a person with controversial opinions and would like to discuss them, you can't even do that properly.

E.g. imagine that you like cryptocoins, but see some kind of problem with them that you would like to argue about... Everything you get is an angry Mob with nonsense responses.

As far as I see that instance is a far-right cess pool. Everything I've got from that instance were low-quality transphobic "news articles".

One annoying thing I noticed on Lemmy is that is someone mentions a Community and links to it, that link usually just opens up the "home" instance of that community. While I actually wanted to see it on my instance so I can join it an participate. What is the proper way to do it? Or is there some browser plugin that makes that easier?
