Can we please not use math to argue who is allowed to murder how many innocents on either side? There is no "but" here, every innocent life taken in this conflict is one too much, on both sides. This conflict has evil, different brand of evil, and innocents caught in the middle between.

Certainly not for the lack of trying. It's just that the iron dome is protecting those hospitals on Israel's side. It shoots down dozens if not hundreds of rockets shot by Hamas daily, some sources say 7000+ since October 7th, which are aimed at who knows what kind of targets.
Just because Israel is a (, not the,) bad guy in this war doesn't mean Hamas are any less evil.
Man, why can't Israel just be the normal, good guy in this. They're just as bad as the other side.
If there are better alternatives entirely depends on how active those people are on Mastodon, Bluesky or even Threads. (Not sure on activity on Bluesky, as I haven't got an invite yet...)
I'm a PHP developer, many people (but not all) in the community crosspost on Twitter and Mastodon, so Mastodon is a good alternative for me personally.

Ich bin PHP-Entwickler. Auf Mastodon wird gerade https://kbin.social/m/php versucht zu pushen. Ist zwar noch ein sehr stilles Magazin, aber kann ich hier auf der Instanz auch nicht suchen. Als ich mich hier vor ein paar Tagen angemeldet habe, konnte ich [email protected] und [email protected] suchen und abonnieren, mittlerweile tauchen die auch nicht mehr in der Suche bei mir auf. Ich denke und hoffe einfach mal, das gibt sich, wenn sich die Lage auf allen Seiten ein bisschen entspannt hat.
Ich wohne in Japan. Als meine Tochter 13 Monate alt war sind wir zum ersten Mal meine Familie in DE besuchen geflogen. Es war für mich die totale Hölle, die Hälfte der Zeit gab es Geschrei wenn wir saßen, habe die 12 Stunden Flug also quasi komplett mit der Kleinen im Tragegurt hinten bei den Flugbegleiterinnen im Stand verbracht, weil sie dort nicht geweint hat. Danach kam Covid und wir sind 3 Jahre nicht geflogen, aber dieses Frühjahr mit 4 Jahren war das alles dann natürlich kein Problem mehr.
Firefox is my daily driver, but oooh how I miss native tab groups like they have on most chromium browsers right in the tab bar. Extensions like simple tab groups just hit differently and are inferior...
