I cut over day one from rocketbook notebooks to RM2 and have never looked back. Seamless transition for me. I find that writing notes keeps me more present than typing, and the ability to tag, cut, paste, and erase is really productive.

I use a personal journal, project and internal work notebooks, to do list, and a scratch pad. I also send presenter notes to it for meetings I'm presenting at, and keep it on a stand next to my main screen so attendees don't see eye tracking. I'm thinking of adding a crossword and word find too when I find one I like. I make extensive use of tags to organize my work stuff.

I'm on the fence. It's great for keeping a topic in one place, but if I can have to go way back I can forget I used it unless I put something on top to say it's an IS page (which I do if I remember)
If you're going to replace that connector/cable, also replace the splitter. My cable company just replaced mine and resulted in a better connection.
