Make sure you are not at a data cap address. If I use my own modem I get a 1tb/mo data cap with $10 per 100gb after that.

This is based on your address. My neighbors don’t have it but they can get fiber where my only option is DSL.

Warning about the Xfinity. Using a different router adds a 1tb month data cap. Removing it requires Comcast Business which increases the price to 270 month.

Bridge mode is “supposed” to work however I wasted 3 weekends with nothing to show for it. Once in bridge mode mine refuses to get an IP even after factory reset. Xfinity support is no help.

When I’m adding hardware or decide to blow out my pc equipment (which is way less than I should). I have dogs and cats and their hair gets everywhere.
