Neither are world class there are about 5 better French players in Saliba's position.
The players on hand dictate the football you play. Unless they're an idiot, no manager is going to scoff at using one of the best players in the world because they don't fit into what they're doing at a certain point in time.
Saka at most, and sem that is contentious.
The quote gets taken at face value too much. City are where they are more for their attacking prowess. Attack is the best form of defence and all that jazz.
