Hi, after 6 hours of testing I come here seeking your help about my Killer ethernet card.
Long story short : I have the same issue as in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/11a44za/killer_e2500_network_controller_is_not_able_to/
Since I updated Windows on my main PC - which is an Acer PH315-52 laptop (helios 300) - the internal ethernet card wont go faster than 100mbps. Before that the speed was a stable 1Gbps.
Of course I tested the cables/routers and checked for physical damage on the laptop's port without results. I installed every killer drivers I could find from 2016 to 2020 and every killer bloatware possible even though those are hard to install now. I dont think windows update interfered while i was testing but that may be the case as i am no expert.
I have no clue why this is happening, all of this wont cut it and I am running out of ideas.
The strange thing happening is that under advanced settings in the peripherals manager I cant set the speed higher than 100mbps full duplex, and "Auto negotiation" does not push higher values when it is on (by default thoughout my testing). This got me thinking that this could be a bug between killer drivers and the newest windows versions.
If one of you have a solution I would be much obliged as this lost of speed is a huge pain for work.
Cheers
ps as english isnt my language please do correct me if something is unclear
ps2 I am running both up to date windows 10 and 11 and both have the issue, before that I was running an old LTSC w10 version.
