My comment was meant to be tongue in cheek but you pretty much nailed the message I’m after. Don’t jump to the conspiracy conclusion but you have to have something wrong with your brain if this doesn’t at least tickle your skeptic gland.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. Reality is trying it’s damnedest to make me one.

It is obvious to anyone with a functional brain.

Nah, talking about the chimp guy. 2nd term could have had a talking sandwich and have the same results. Having had relatives who went through the same though, I have zero belief that he was in control of his faculties for the entire first term.

the patron saint of the right spent most of his presidency with a head full of mush, they don’t care. It’s the same reason the age stuff resonates with Biden only, the right wants useful idiots who will sign off on their fever dreams. A non-functional brain is a virtue to them.

For me, right now. I’m having a blast figuring out how to self host all the enshittified services that I’m closing off access to.

Catch 22 really, I’m enjoying it because I’m learning so much, so fast but probably shouldn’t have to and it’s not feasible for most I realize.

no, but they have no problem with cheating and the branch of government that would hold them responsible when they do, just showed their hand. I don't think it's going to be easy for them to steal it, but I don't think there will be much in the way of them trying every trick they have.

Doesn’t really matter though. No one thinks the court will allow immunity. What turnip has been after is delay, and the court just signaled that they have his back. Adding almost 3 more months of delay (the 2+ weeks while waiting for them to accept the case and the almost 2 months before even hearing arguments, and that’s ignoring the time it will take to render a decision). So, the “best” possible outcome is still a benefit to him, and it only gets better for him from there.

The fix is in.

Yep, been saying the same thing. The mere act of taking the case is proof enough since even the “best” possible outcome still benefits turnip. These aren’t stupid people so I simply cannot believe they took the case in the name of justice or service to the American public. The fix is indeed in.

Upvote for truth, the whole series is great. I really do love the Blue Jean Committee though, despite them being fictional, they are nevertheless my favorite 70’s soft rock group.

Truth is, I was never an O’Brien fan, but can’t argue with the logic :)
