Anyone knows of any FOSS project that allows users to submit worked hours daily and the business owner to see in a table hours worked for each of the employees and hours worked on each project. Some solutions I found are too complicated for the average user and they don't allow for self rapporting (x hours at the end of the day) but ask to clock in and out from within the platform which is not ideal for my use case

It's probably too bare bones, but I'm currently using https://github.com/nikolassv/bartib for my personal time tracking. Maybe you can build something around it.

Another one I've came across but never tried: https://github.com/almarklein/timetagger.

Try Kimai.

  • you can enter hours per person per day, without need to use clock.
  • you can ger reports for toals, or per person etc.
