I have this CPU on an Asrock B760m Steel Legend at stock clocks. Power limits are 125/150w.

Yesterday when I was playing Starfield, I was using hwinfo to do some logging in the background. After the end of my session, I saw that my max temps across the p-cores were around 80-85C but the average temps were around 62-65C. I checked the log.csv file and those max temps were splitsecond spikes, and not constant.

Thing is, my p-core2 was marked as "throttled" but weirdly not when my temps were 85C but when my temps were much much lower. These two instances are far apart.

Also, I noticed my clock speeds have dropped to 4.5-4.6ghz a few times during the session and none of them have been marked as "throttled".

Is it normal for the clock speeds to drop at times? This is the first time I have checked the clock speeds in the log, so I am not sure if this is normal or not.
