Give competitors' recommendations only where appropriate. If a user asks for Intel only (i.e. i5-12600k vs i5-13400?) recommendations, do not reply with non-Intel recommendations. Commenting on a build pic saying they should have gone AMD/Nvidia is also inappropriate, don't be rude. Let people enjoy things.

CPU Cooling problems: Just like 95C is normal for Ryzen, 100C is normal for Intel CPUs in many workloads. If you're worried about CPU temperatures, please look at reviews for the laptop or CPU cooler you're using.
Just remove your GPU to have a real answer
Probably a data entry error.
I thought F or KF processors are better if you own powerful modern gpu. Intel iGPU and cpu share L3 cash which in theory could negatively affect cpu performance or latency.
Not really. Only difference is the lack of iGPU, in theory MAYBE some lower heat OUTPUT & perhaps some cache differences, but they're all more theoretical then real. I've never seen anyone even measure any differences between the iGPU and non-iGPU versions.
Really an iGPU is a great power save, and can improve performance of low intensity tasks like video Playback etc. As well as offloading a secondary monitor to the iGPU and running background tasks etc. All in all an iGPU is an objective upgrade in the real world.
Like MAYBE if you're extremely cache and ram limited it MIGHT in theory make a difference but far far far more factors are far more important than iGPU vs non-iGPU versions.

Zero difference if you disable the iGPU anyway.
Just to clear up any confusion, the 12700 is a higher model than the 12700F. Only by about $30, but the 12700 has a built-in iGPU and on the 12700F it’s disabled (likely because it was defective). Otherwise the CPUs are identical.
