It seems with most everyone complains about how the battery dies quick or that the device melted. Any recommendation on ones you guys liked.

My go to is the CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD

I highly recommend making sure they're the V2 -- the V1 has the problematic glue that burns on the internal mainboard. I've got two of them on my 'server rack' and it'll run everything long enough for a clean powerdown.

2 HP servers, 1 Chenbro box, 1 POE switch, 1 non-POE switch, fortigate and a couple of raspi's via PoE.

I bougt a 2nd-hand APC 1500 smartups without battery for 40 Euro's . It is running for over 10 years. I replaced the batteries twice with clone batteries. (They last about 4 years)

Can recommend my APC SMT1500I. Original batteries lasted 9.5 years. Accidentally plugged a fan heater into it once and it survived. Most reliable device in my rack.

My SMX3000XLRT2UA Tripp Lite SmartPRO 230V 3KVA 2.7KW seems to be doing fine only had it about 2 years though.

I had a cyberpower UPS once, and will never get another. When the battery went (without warning) the unit it kept trying to switch to and from the battery over and over. Repeatedly cutting power when it did. I’m surprised it didn’t harm the system connected to it. Never saw that on an APC.
