We hardly knew Gavi :(

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Pathetic! He got an injury, par for the course when being a footballer. Total drama queens

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Is he dead?

I fail to see any problem with this.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

want my club to do this for players out with a flu

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Man City did this with Gundogan but it was their pre match warm up shirts

You’d think his puppy died from malnutrition and his cat got a tape worm…

I find it weird how it bothers people so much that Gavi is shown a lot of support

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Because it's excessive and dramatic. He didn't die, he will come back and play.

Other footballers get season ending injuries all the time and no other team actually prints it on their shirt.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

They simply walked out with a shirt that had a message printed for Gavi before the match, they’re not actually playing with it. It’s pretty standard for Barcelona to walk out with messages to players on shirts that get long term injuries.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

? It is fairly common, at least in Spain, to come out with shirts showing support to long-term injured players before a game. So clearly other teams do it and you are clueless.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

on the actual kit?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Ahh so it's wrong to show some support because not everyone does it?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Ikr, he's a young and very loved player in the club and there is always a possibility that the player who returns from a long injury never gains back their form.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

They dont have empathy. Probably because they've never been given love or support before themself.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

It would be weird if a bunch of my mates wore special tshirts to school when I had an illness, no?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I saw this somewhere before with another club. People were saying stuff like "He's just injured , he didn't die" but I can't remember who it was

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Cringe attempt at this "brotherhood" shit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

So dramatic, hilarious

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Bro got ligma

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

They’re not actually playing with the message printed on the shirt, it was just a shirt to walk out to before the match - pretty standard in Spain/for Barca if a player gets a long term injury. It’s a nice touch to a teenage player that means a lot to the team and fans.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

No one on Reddit has been shown love before so no wonder they think this is cringe

Christ he's got a fairly common injury, yeah it's unfortunate for him but this is a bit much.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Everyone is with him!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

What a waste of materials or will they reuse them everytime he's injured

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Barca 🤝 being corny

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Hope he survives

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

We make shirts for acl tears now?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Wow r/soccer, showing support to colleagues is cringe and then people moan about sports washing projects. Hypocrisy.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

A bit much lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

God that's ironic, breaking Gavi with too many minutes at young age and putting this message on Lamal

Also, very over dramatic, it's not cancer

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Why is this allowed on their match kit?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

as they allow a 16 y.o. to play 90 mins

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I stand by Gavi after the revelations last week

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I cant believe Gavi is dead, he was so young :(

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Obviously they are not with Gavi. They are on the field playing.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Better than city did for Gundogan years ago 💀

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

2 point deduction from Tebas

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

barca after using gavi for 6372828 games : yea sorry bro

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Dramatic pansies lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

clearly doesn’t say that on the jersey.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

You’re next blud

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Did he die or something. Barca is worse than a United when it comes to milking social media.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Barca made their players look like walking billboards
