WHO WINS?

Tomorrow we get City Vs Liverpool. Liverpool have a deplorable record at the Etihad but city have looked vulnerable lately especially on the transition so wonder if Stones will be back fit. Always a banger but curious how much weight does tomorrow's winner have on who wins the title. To early to predict? If they both draw Arsenal are right back on track in the challenge. Who do guys think wins tomorrow?

Also if you get a chance i made a promo for the game Enjoy

Big rivalry but a bit of a stretch to call it the "biggest".

They are 2 good teams who have been competing for titles recently but that doesn't make them rivals.

One of Liverpools biggest rivals is in Manchester and it definitely isn't City

Competing against each other for titles is literally what a rivalry is. Its not a derby but that's not the same thing.

A rivalry requires a lot more than just being good teams at the same time. It requires something deeper and a lot of history behind it. A rivalry is one where it doesn't matter how good either team is at any given time because every game is just as important.

If City or Liverpool had some really rough years where they arent contending for the league then they would just be regular games again.

A rivalry for example is what Liverpool has with Everton or United. Even in years where Liverpool were winning league titles and Everton was struggling those games meant far more to the fans than the games with City because they are actual rivals

I know exactly what you mean but what you're describing is a derby that was my whole point

They’re far from being the biggest rivals

OL vs OL I think, our worst enemies. These bastards harm us so much.

Until there’s hanging effigies, nationwide band on alcohol in football stadiums, people burning season tickets for signing a former player of your rival (mostly because he was catholic) and literal divides in families over supporting one or the other I refuse to acknowledge any rivalry in the UK bigger than the old firm/glarby.

How can it be the biggest rivalry in the world when it isn’t the biggest rivalry in Britain?

Crystal Palace vs Brighton is a bigger rivalry. Nobody cares about City like that
