Idk why but harry kane is surprising.
He led the league in goals and assists one time, and always is scoring, not too surprising he's here imo.
I think he meant it's surprising that Kane isn't higher up that list.
Him making this list in spite of spending almost his entire career at a B-tier top team is impressive. Put him at prime Barca or City and his numbers would be even higher.
Kylian and Haaland might well break all time goalscoring record with the number of games increasing.

I am not sure what your objection is here, normalizing per matches played is exactly the way to make this fair.
It might be a bit better if the ratio was G+A per minute rather than per game, or removing penalties (since not all the players here were penalty-takers for all or even any of their teams).
What would you prefer?
