My vmware esxi 8 license is expired and i can't create new or turn in any Virtual machines. If you have the codes to reset trial please help me.

As mentioned, you could get a free license. Or, if you like ESXi, VMUG advantage: https://www.vmug.com/membership/vmug-advantage-membership/

You will need to reload the esxi host, if you have your storage on a different drive or appliance than it should be easy

You could always reset the license, at least with versions up to 7, have you tried on 8?

So you would need to re install VMware ESXi on your boot os. Once the trial is up you can only activate it with a license key not a trial key again. I assume you have a second drive for your VM, so what you want to do is leave that drive alone, I typically remove it just in case I select the wrong drive awhile reinstalling the os.

Just join the VMUG. $200 a year and you get full access to a number of products, including ESXi, and you get to use vCenter with it.

Much less hassle than messing with the free stuff. Orbs a great value too.
