As I think many of us are, I am at my relatives a lot for the holidays. Many of my relatives have smart-TVs that are capable of installing and running Jellyfin clients. My inclination is to use these devices to connect to my Jellyfin server.

Problem: my Jellyfin server is behind an Authelia login page. So, when the Jellyfin client attempts to connect, it gets blocked. What I think I need is a one-time, temporary whitelist for the IP of my relatives' network.

However, I'm open to other suggestions. Has anyone out there encountered this situation, and if so what was your solution for it?

Try npm (nginx proxy manager) instead of authelia for jellyfin?
